Yog path sansthan.
Yoga is believed to be close to a 5,000-year-old practice, but its history goes back more than 10,000 years with its teachings transmitted by an uninterrupted chain of gurus to their disciples. While the ancient wisdom of yoga continues to exist due to its benefits. Our philosophy is that yoga is about much more than just exercise or the practice of postures (asana). At yog path sansthan – we aim to promote yoga in its ‘fullness’, focusing on all eight limbs of Ashtanga Yoga equally, not just on the physical aspect. We teach Yoga as a lifestyle emphasizing the importance of sharing, compassion, contemplation and evolution.
YPS has helped many people to cure there critical health problems by doing various ashana. They also focus on Dhyana or often known as meditation , which is integral part of yoga –which unites the body, mind and spirit to achieve union with God (or the divine Self) through a philosophy and a set of practices and techniques for living a pure life leading to enlightenment. It could, perhaps, be said that dhyana(meditation) and yoga together help to raise levels of awareness of body, mind and spirit, and bring harmony within the human consciousness in an attempt to align it with the far-more profound divine consciousness.
